Join me for a fall backyard cake smash session with the cutest one-year-old! Cake smashes might just be my favorite milestone to photograph. It’s a perfect way to celebrate that incredible first year of growth and love.

Cake Smash & celebrating more than just a birthday

Turning one is a big deal—not just for the baby but for the whole family. Parents spend that first year navigating sleepless nights, first steps, endless snuggles, and countless little victories. It’s a year full of challenges and joy, and reaching that first birthday deserves a big celebration.

Fall Colors, Backyard Comfort

For this particular session, we set up a colorful fall-themed picnic in the backyard. The setting was dreamy—golden sunlight filtering through the trees, pumpkins in vibrant oranges and creamy whites, and pops of fall flowers adding the perfect touch of color.


Your backyard is the perfect location for your baby's cake smash.  There's no better place than the space that you spent the last 365 days raising your sweet babe.  Outdoor sessions are perfect for a messy cake smash.

Update Family Photos
