In Home Newborn Sessions are Priceless


Remember how fast those first few weeks go by??  How it's all a blur?  You're running on little sleep, wondering how hospitals just let you take a baby home, figuring out what it means to be mom and dad?  In home newborn photos celebrate that moment in real time - the nursery you perfected, the couch snuggles, the way the dogs like to lay in the baby's activity center.

In home sessions let baby be the boss.

In this case, baby + his two dogs were the bosses.  One of these sweet pups was deeply suspicious of the camera, and resolutely protected their baby the entirety of the session.  Collectively, Denver loves their dogs.  And as a Denver newborn photographer, I also lover your dogs.  Bring on allllllll the pets.  They are such an important part of your family and your story.

Your promotion to parenthood matters.

Going from a party of two to a party of three is a profound milestone.  You'll fiercely love this tiny human and these perfect moments of early parenthood will go by so fast.  Newborn photography will help you remember all the details - breastfeeding (or bottle feeding!), their teeny fingernails, how much you loved to squish their perfect cheeks, the contact naps, heaven on earth.

The joy of in-home sessions is that baby's call the shots.  They're hungry?  Great, feed them.  They're tired?  That's fine, rock them!  They spit up?  No problem, you can change them.  No need to deal with unpredictable weather, parents don't need to rush to get out of the house.  Newborn sessions are slow, in the most gentle way.
