Fall Family Portraits at Golden Ponds Park


Longmont, Colorado


Fall in Colorado is something else.  Fall in Colorado + waterfalls is something else else.  This  lifestyle family session at Golden Ponds Park in Longmont brought a bunch of picture perfect fall elements together to make for some lovely family photos.

Golden Ponds offers a blend of nature: ponds, tree-lined paths, and soft, the lines of the bridges tall grasses. It was the perfect location to document this family. We wandered the trails, which is perfect for big kids!!  Family photography shouldn't stop when your kids outgrow the toddler stage.  I feel like the "middle kid" years are in some ways the most important.  Somewhere in between one year old cake smash and senior photos, this phase of childhood sometimes goes the least photographed.

Golden Ponds Park in Longmont is the perfect  location for older kids.  There is space to walk around, areas  to explore, which makes for good photos.  You know what looks good on everyone?  Joy and curiosity.
