Fall Family Portraits at Golden Ponds Park


Longmont, Colorado


There’s something about autumn in Colorado that makes it the perfect backdrop for family photos—the crisp air, the golden leaves, and the way the light glows just right. This  lifestyle family session at Golden Ponds Park in Longmont brought all those magical elements together with a sweet, joy-filled family that made photographing them an absolute pleasure.

Golden Ponds offers a unique blend of nature’s beauty: peaceful ponds, tree-lined paths, and soft, golden grasses that light up in the fall. It was the perfect location to document this family We wandered the trails, which is perfect for big kids!!  Family photography shouldn't stop when your kids outgrow the toddler stage.  I feel like the "middle kid" years are perhaps the most important.  Somewhere in between one year old cake smash and senior photos, there is beauty in all the stages of childhood.

Golden Ponds Park in Longmont is the perfect  location for older kids.  There is space to walk around, areas  to explore, which makes for authentic photos.  You know what looks good on everyone?  Joy and curiosity.
