There’s something special about Mount Falcon East in Morrison, Colorado—especially when it’s bathed in golden hour light. Add in a sweet little toddler, two adoring parents, and a whole lot of love, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a truly memorable family photo session.

As a Denver family photographer, I’m lucky to explore some of Colorado’s most scenic spots with the sweetest families—and this session was no exception. Mount Falcon East is one of my favorite locations for its mix of mountain (& Red Rocks!) views, tall grasses, and winding trails. It’s peaceful, open, and just magical when the sun dips low in the sky.
