Having a baby is one of my absolute favorite milestones to photograph. Newborn photos are priceless, and they change so fast. I'm a sucker for at home newborn photos, but if you'd rather not clean up the house for photos, then Fresh 48s are your jam.

You've already done the hard part - you brought baby earth-side. The best thing about Fresh 48s is that baby is the boss. You dote on baby, I snap photos, everyone wins. It's all the things you'd be doing anyways, might as well document them. They take very little prep work - just tidy up the room a bit and you're ready.
Fresh 48s allow you to remember the first time siblings met.
Bring big brother or sister to Fresh 48s!! There is a magic to getting to photograph their first meeting.
While you're at it, invite the grandparents.
