Newborn photography

is about more than just images to share on your socials. As cliche as it sounds, it’s about freezing time. Your little one will grow so quickly, and those tiny fingers, delicate eyelashes, and soft, sleepy expressions will soon change.

Documentary-style newborn photography

focuses on real moments of real families. The best part is, the baby is the boss.  We follow their lead.  Are they hungry?  Feed them.  Tired?  Rock them.  Sleepy?  Snuggle them close.  In all the ordinary, we get to turn the tiny yawns, tiny toes, and all their tiny, perfect details into art.  Documentary photography leaves space to honestly photograph tender connections between family members, especially when those family members include two gentle (albeit sometimes chaotic) giants.

Being a newborn photographer

is a privilege and a joy.  Being invited into your most important place with your most important people is a gift that I do not take lightly.  Babies don't keep, and until time machines are a thing, we will thank our lucky stars for photographs and their power to bring us back to the moment when our babies were brand new to this world.
