Senior portraits, especially for teen guys, can be low on stress and high on laid back.  This session was incredibly low maintenance.  One outfit, mountain vibes, and a good sense of humor?  Check, check, check.  So if you're a Denver family looking for a nearby photographer for your graduating senior, then look no further.   Whether you're looking for nature, nature meets city, or something completely different, I have a laundry list of locations I can recommend for your senior photos.

A Case for Senior Photos in the Mountains

I think sometimes we forget just how lucky we are that the mountains are just a quick little jaunt away from the Denver metro.  Senior photos in the mountains is a great way to bring a little Colorado to your celebration.  Sometimes we get a little extra lucky with some fall colors.

Senior portraits can be relaxed.

I hear from a lot of moms that their teen son isn't exactly thrilled about senior photos.  Totally ok.  No matter the excitement level, we can make sure to get photos that work.  The yearbook, the milestone, celebrating this moment in time (for mom, at least).  We can get the photos without the fuss.

Senior portraits, your way.

Senior portraits are for you.  I don't up charge outfit changes.  Want a couple outfits?  Great.  Prefer to stick to one outfit?  Perfect.  My goal is to give you as much variety as possible within our location (in this case, that meant open field, water, mountain views, in the forest).  Unlike a lot of photographers, I also don't mind combining family photos with senior portraits.  Sometimes this is the very best way to get your grad to feel most comfortable - when it's a family affair.
