Extended Family Photo Sessions
Multi-generation family photos can be fun, packed with personality, and give you so much variety.

It's actually fun, promise.
Most of the families that reach out for extended family photos are already gathering for some type of event - this was no exception. Later in the evening, they were celebrating their grandpa's 100th birthday party. If you're getting the whole family together is already a celebration — why not make it a little extra?
It might sound cliché, but it's true: photo day becomes an opportunity for quality time. Will their be some dads who would rather stab their eye out than pose for family photos? Sure. Will toddlers cry? Maybe. But you'll get some extra time together. And the more people standing behind the camera getting kids to look and smile, the better.

Lots of variety.
One of the biggest perks of an extended family session is how many photos we can capture in one sesh. Yes, we’ll get the big, traditional family portrait, but wait, there's more!
Individual families, siblings, cousins, grandparent + grandkid portraits, even solo shots of the kids. Depending on the size of your group and how much time we have, you’ll walk away with a full gallery of images.

Candid moments are the real treasure.
Because kids can only stand still and smile at the camera for so long (also applies to some dads), my fav part is after the portraits are done and we can take a few minutes to relax and play.
Kids being kids is the best. Joy looks good on everyone.
